"LOVED my surf lesson with David! He was very helpful, patient and encouraging and I got up on my 2nd wave and countless waves after that. Such a convenient spot right by the beach and the waves there were terrific for beginners. A highlight of my trip to Kauai!"

"As a former skater kid from Nebraska, I've always wanted to try surfing. It has been near the top of my bucket list since I was a child. This did not disappoint. I did a semi private surf lesson here and it was one of the best experiences of my life. The instructor, Kallā (I doubt I'm spelling it right, sorry) made sure we were all comfortable before we got in the water. He was joyful and encouraging with clear feedback and instructions. All four of us got up and two of us were able to catch our own waves and ride them to the shore without help towards the end. Understand that you're not going to be shredding, but you'll at least get your feet wet and on a board. It's a great start and an afternoon I'll never forget."
