"Beginner surf lessons were fun. David was our instructor for me, my husband and my 2 adult daughters. Lessons started on dry land leaning to go from prone to upright position. Then headed to beach to apply what we learned. It was easier for my daughters to catch on than the parents, and they were upright in no time. They loved it! David was patient and a good instructor. I recommend Hoku water sports. We had a 12 p.m. lesson, but learned afterward that maybe a morning lesson would have had better water conditions for that particular day. That day the seas were a bit rough for a beginner."

Kele is the best
"I had the greatest surfing experience with Kele. I have always wanted to get better at surfing and Kele made it possible for me to improve and love surfing more than I ever have. I will definitely be referring people to Hoku just because of Kele… he’s incredible!"
