"This was one of the highlights of my trip. My husband and I have never surfed and I felt much more confident by the end riding the waves. Our instructor Kele is such an awesome person and a fantastic instructor! He is personable, kind, easy to talk with, and a great teacher. I would highly recommend this experience!"

"My daughter Isabella had Kele on 05 Sept 2022 as an instructor and he was wonderful! I love that they keep the sessions small so that everyone gets some quality time and the instructor is able to make sure everyone has the technique down. Kele was patient, fun, and made sure everyone was comfortable! So much so that we booked another session with him on 07 September, with me joining. I’m not a strong swimmer and he definitely made sure I felt confident. I would 100% book with Hoku again, preferably with Kele!"

"The surf instructor was a cool dude. He listened and paired us with a board fitting out skill level. He showed us the basics in balancing, getting on our feed, and riding the wave. During the session the instructor helped find the waves, gave constructive feedback, and kept it fun. I had a killer time and already want to go again. 10/10 would recommend. Note: there are sharp rocks in the water near the sand. Beware and fall like a starfish to stay towards the surface, or you may scrap your legs. Stop searching and Book this experience."
